Philippine Fashion Week.

I know it exists. Pero never ko naman naimagine na makakapunta ako don. haha. First, I am not a blogger, model, media person. On the contrary, I am a VetMed student. My world is not really familiar with the fashion stuff. Pero dahil may kikay side din naman ako and babae ako, syempre fashion will always be interesting for me. ;)

I got my friends into the Chris Jasler, Melchor Guinto, Philipp Tampus and Veejay Floresca show for the PFW. Veejay just tweeted about how to get invites so I send my name in. Experimentally lang. haha. Wala naman talaga akong idea how it works. Then boom, I received the invite the following day. I realized ‘Anong gagawin ko dun mag isa?!’ so gow na. I texted my friends to go and send an email din. Then after a few days, we were all in!

Nadz and Butch are both VJF fans. Pangarap nila maging VJF bride someday. HAHA. So talagang walang makakapigil sa kanilang dalwa to go sa fashion week. Kami naman ni Gab, maka Philipp. Yiz, matagal na akong inlove sa designs ni Philipp Tampus. Since Project Runway 1 pa lang, lagi akong excited sa mga designs nya. Elementary pa lang ata ako nun. Philipp knows how to dress a woman’s body - what to accentuate, what to hide. Exquisite sya when it comes to details! The lace gowns and bonggang intricacy ng details, nako, yan ang talent nya. AMAZEEEEENG! Jawdropping ang collection nya sa runway! Makapigil hininga. haha

Si Dudday naman,walang kilala sa mga designers. hahaha. Pero gow na gow kasi minsan lang kami magbabonding the fashionista way. hehe

These are the highlights of our PFW Experience:

1. Wardrobe malfunction

Yiz. Di ko alam na nakakatwist ng utak ang maghanap ng dress for a fashion event. Syempre, you have to look good and next you have to blend in. It was hard kasi wala talaga akong idea sa peg na look ng mga tao sa ganon. Nagkaron pa ng ‘run’ yung dress ko the day before PFW. Buti napansin ko, I had it fixed. Si Gab naman, was supposed to wear white pants. The morning before going to SMX, nalagyan ng paint ng little sis nya!

Then eto ang bonggang moment. While walking sa lobby ng SMX, Gab’s strapped heels broke! Poise under pressure ang drama ng lola mo. haha. She had to walk barefooted and stand in line while waiting for her flats. To the rescue naman kaming lahat. hahaha

2. The taxi overheated!

hahaha! Super lols. Nasa SMX na ako with Gab and Butch. We were waiting for Nadz and Dudday. Super tagal nila kasi stucked sa traffic. Then Nadz called, ‘Nakikita ko na yung globe!! Eto na kami. Wait! Nagoverheat yung taxi!’

They got there on time naman pero medyo mahaba na yung line that time. Keri lang. Maayos naman yung view from our seats. ;)

3. Here comes Mother Becky! with V and Jake Galvez

When we got to our seats, I scanned the hall. Syempre madaming becky, kanya kanyang outfit. The girls din ay kanya kanyang porma and make up. Pretty sight kasi lahat ng tao nakaporma galore. I saw Jake Galvez, kasi blonde ang hair nya so madali syang masight. Sya ang fave ko sa Becky Nights! haha

I went to the CR pala, nakakaaliw. Yung hallway papunta sa CR, all you can hear ay click-clacking ng heels! Estrogen overload! haha

Di ko na maalala who spotted D, pero when someone told me, ay bongga, natulala ako! Kasi I didn’t expect na D will be there kahit alam kong friends sila ni Veejay. Wala lang. Di ko lang nafeel. Then yon, ayun na, si Mother Becky na love na love ko ay nakaupo with V on her side. I knew what to do, di ko papalampasin ang gabi na walang picture with her! Fan levels talaga ako. :p

And there we are! I told yah, tulala levels ako nang makita si Divine. :p Ligaya ni Gab at Unadz dito.

We took pics with her after the show. Totoo nga, she’s really super nice and kulit! She complimented Gab’s necklace and even screamed with us nung super naexcite kami kasi nakita namin sya. Talon levels din sya kahit heelless Kermit shooz ang suot nya. Funny pa kasi, si Victor paikot ikot lang taking pictures while si D pinagkakaguluhan ng sangkabaklaan! haha

Tapos nung nawala si V, D was shouting, “Love! Love! Wait!’ Parang nasa bahay lang. hahaha

Nasupladahan pa unintentionally ni Gab at Nadz si V kasi bigla biglang sumusulpot! He’s nice pa rin. Ever support lang kay Mother. And yes,gwapong gwapo :)

4. Chris Jasler’s collection

FIERCE AND HOT! Topless ang bet ng mga male models. Bet ko yung headdress nila. Jeans and rugged look ang theme ng collection nya. All the models were wearing heelless shooz. Medyo hirap maglakad yung mga models, pero keri lang, sight to behold naman sila.

5. Melchor Guinto collection

Suits naman ang peg nya. Di ako masyado nakarelate kasi suits and mostly pang male ang outfits nya. Pero bet ni Gab yung collection nya.

6. Philipp Tampus

ETO NAAAAA! When the first model came out, OMG lang talaga nag lumabas sa bibig ko. Lakas ng dating ng dress! And hindi disappointing ang show nya, level up talaga! All the gowns ay maganda. Kinikilabutan ako. The details, the colors, the flow! Philipp really knows how to dress a woman. Kahit anong design nya, flattering. And the details? Feeling ko 5 years bago nagawa yun eh! My favorite was the read lacey long sleeved gown. Nanahimik yung buong hall when it came out. Wala akong nasabi. Nakakaspeechless.

Philipp really knows his craft. Period!

Hindi ito yung collection nya sa PFW2012. Sa StyleBible to nanggaling. Pero nevertheless, ganyan mga style nya. More on fuschia, greens and blues lang yung napanuod namin.

7. Veejay Floresca

Ang designs ni Veejay ay malalim! haha. May isip factor. Magaling sya. May depth yung designs nya. Not as bongga as Philipp’s pero may lalim. Parang may meaning? Ganon yung feel. Subtle lang din sya when it comes to colors, more on beige and blacks lang. Substance kung substance ang collection ni VJF :D

Pero etong si Veejay may galit ata saken, tinulak ba naman ako gamit yung pinto sa SMX? haha. Kidding, di naman nya sinasadya. Pero ang cute lang, kasi ang payat nya and ang liit nya hindi ko napansin na sya si Veejay. Only nung nagsorry lang sya sa akin ko sya nakilala. Super duper nice nya he even requested na iupload yung pics namin sa kanya at itag sya sa fb! hahaha :)

8. Joshua Rosario

He’s a friend of Dudday’s. Blogger and fashionista din sya. May mga lumalapit sa kanya to take his picture para sa mga blog thingy. He’s nice and super fun kasama. 9. Kelly Misa

AY KAGANDANG BABAE! hahaha. Perhaps one of the prettiest girls I’ve seen. Tahimik lang sya and smile smile lang. We have a picture with her.

She’s not as pretty sa pictures at commercials, pero in person, wow talaga ang fez nya!

10. Teresa Herrera

Eto naman si Ate, we saw her upstairs na. Dun sa area na walang tao. I hesitated na lapitan sya kasi besides na may intimidating factor yung dating, fez, and status nya, hindi ako sure na sya yun! haha. Hampayat nya kasi! Iba yung itsura nya sa mga pictures and sa tv kaya nagdalwang isip ako. Pero confirmed sya nga, I asked her sa twitter. She even said na dapat nga daw nag hello ako sa kanya.

She walks around SMX na parang sya ang may-ari ng fashion week! haha. Supermodel levels! Love ko pa rin sya :)
