Party Shoes

Sequined Gladiator Heels (Figlia P799-P899)

I bought this impulsively. I was just supposed to be a chaperone of Mieke and Danice during that day because they were going to buy heels when I stumbled upon this pair. I said ta-try ko lang. But when I tried it on, boom. We all knew (including the saleslady) na dapat syang iuwi. haha. Add he fact na nakasale sya! It fitted so well especially with the flare body hugging pants I was wearing that day. Sexy, foxy look. Love. Already used this a number of times during gimiks.

Peeptoe Black Pumps (Rusty Lopez P1300)

Yes. The classic pumps. This is a must have! I bought this pair kasi I needed to throw away na my old peeptoe pumps (which have been used by all of my friends!). Sumusuko na kasi sya dahil sa daming beses nagamit ko at ng lahat ng friends ko. Hindi ko na mabilang. As in gamit na gamit talaga sya. So I decided to let it rest na then I’ll buy another pair. Although this is a lot higher and the heels are stiletto type na unlike my first one. But I must say, compared to other heel types, comfy to wear ang peeptoe pumps.  Never been used pa. hehe

Peeptoe Black Pumps 2 (Parisian P1300)

Another impulse buying result. I was with Danice when I bought this pair. I was supposed to buy closed flats lang that day kasi bongga on sale sa Megamall. I just saw this sa mga featured shoes nila, I thought mga 2k ang price nya (kasi mukha syang mahal) kaya tinry ko lang. Super bongga! Hot hot shoes! Lalo pa akong nainlove sa kanya when I look at the price. I literally screamed when I tried this on tapos nanakbo ako papunta kay Danice. Girls, when a pair has affected you that way, it only means one thing. DO NOT LET GO or you’ll regret it forever. Oh btw, last pair ever na yung stock nila. Kaya di ko na pinakawalan! haha. Used this once pa lang.

Black and Denim Heels (Figlia P399)

The first thing I noticed about this pair ay super sale sya. Hindi gaano kabongga ang itsura nya on the shelf but since bihira lang magkaron ng Figlia heels na P399 eh tinry ko na. I was surprised when I put it on. Ganda nya. Fit na fit sa feet shape ko. And I think this can be worn with any type of outfit, especially yung medyo rugged since hindi gaano kasophisticated ang look nya (unlike the ones I’m used to buy). This is a nice pair. I’ve used this a number of times already. Fit sya kahit ao outfit. :)

Girlfriend Shoes

The Pinay Summer Wedge (Mendrez - more or less 1k, cant exactly remember)

This pair has some sentimental value. Because I bought these as my 18th birthday gift to myself and I wore them during my 18th birthday Luau party. This is very simple lang but bet ko yung exact fit nya sa paa ko. Sometimes it’s not the design of the shoes naman, it’s the way they fit your feet. That motto was true for this pair, for me. This is very sturdy kasi until now, buhay pa din sya. Very comfy also. I sometimes wear this to class.

Flower punched brown heels (Parisian P499)

This is also came from a super sale event. I saw this pair when it was recently put into the shelf. Bet ko na sya nun kaso mahal sya so I didn’t buy them. So when I came across them na super sale na sya, binili ko na. This is not really for parteying, more on for porma on a casual day or for a date. Oh and btw, I have never worn these. Si Danice (Megamall/Astoria), si Butch (Eastwood), at si Esther (Tomas Morato/Sitti concert) pa ang naunang nagsuot nito. Funny. Someday, maybe if I’ll go on a date, I can wear this. Chos.

Simple Flesh Mini Heels (Parisian - Mother bought:) )

Si madur ang bumili nito. She was the one shopping for that time and I was just roaming around the shelves putting on every pair that interested me. I was wearing a dress that time kaya when I put these on, ganda tignan - very neat and very girlfriend look. So gow na, pinabili ko na. hehe.

Neon pink flats (Less than P500)

Wala naman ata talagang brand to kasi I just bought them because I had nothing to wear for Kris’ debut. Medyo emergency levels na. haha. I opted for a casual look kasi and I had nothing to wear on my feet that matched my Christmas green dress. Di ko bet magheels nung time na yon eh. Maiba naman. All I could remember was I was with Nathan when I bought this. Though cute naman. Medyo mahirap lang hanapan ng outfit.

Utility Shoes

Vetmed proper shoes (Chelsea - P500)

This is also an emergency pair. haha. I had to rush to SM kasi wala akong isusuot with my uniform kasi biglang nasira yung black shoes ko. I am not sure if I had an exam that week ba or we were just required to wear complete uniform that week. I also bought this on sale. They’re pretty naman. I look and feel smart when I’m wearing them. Catchy din yung silver lining nya and the big buckle on the front.

Laboratory shoes (Duralite - less than P200)

This pair is so bongga! Matagal nato but according nga sa brand nya, very Durable! Kabog ang crocs dito. haha. I didn’t buy them really for lab use, natuwa lang ako kasi very cheap sya. When I entered proper and we were required to have lab shoes, I only have these pair for that. And infairness, very comfy sya around the lab and matibay :) I recommend this to everyone. hehe. Gamit na gamit ko to sa acad life ko. hehe

Unbranded rubber shoes (less than P500)

I never really had rubber shoes in my college life except when I had lawn tennis as a PE. And I think I lost them. And di rin naman ako yung type na nagra-rubber shoes. I don’t feel the need to have rubber shoes. haha. I just had to buy a pair when Pia and I decided to go gym-ing last summer. Trial lang naman yun so I just bought a cheap pair of rubber shoes. (and nahiya din ako magpabili kasi ayoko malaman ng parents ko na maggigiym ako. haha). Bet ko yung porma nya, kinda sleek and very lady-like. Although di sya ganun ka comfy, matigas yung dulo nya. My fingers tend to hurt when I’m wearing them for a long time already. I only wear them pag feel ko tomboy ako for the day. haha

Surgery room shoes (Chinese brand - P200)

Eto super bongga. I was just around Trinoma waiting for Raiza when I saw this pair. I first noticed yung cushion inside the shoe. Kasi nasa shelf sya ng mga nakasale na shoes and I thought mahal sya because of the cushion thingy. But no. The price surprised me I even said ‘Talaga?’ by myself. When I put it on, I decided I’ll get it na. Kasi super duper comfy and I realized din na we had a spay and neuter campaign the following day so magagamit ko din naman. Yes, until now, I would say, super sulit sya :)

Shoes I Forget I Have

Strapped Platforms Sandals (Mendrez P1200)

I rarely wear this pair. Pero memorable to for me. Kasi the last time I wore them was during the HP7 Part2 premiere. And I was infront of the cinema talking to the coordinator (a college event) when the strap broke! As in I had to remove them infront of the cinema kasi di ako makakalakad talaga nang suot ko sila. Define guts and charms talaga. I was very glad Mieke was there to boost my confidence. I walked barefeet from the cinema carpets to the parking lot cement that night. Memorable.

But tumagal to ha. I had them since high school. And now they’re as good as new na. My mom had them fixed :)

White plastic sandals (Parisian - Mother bought)

This pair is very ladylike. Feeling ko when I wear them, ang lady lady ko. Dalagang dalaga. haha. However, I don’t usually wear them kasi they have sharp edges that had to put scotch tape on the ends so my feet won’t blister and hurt. Keri lang sya if I don’t need to walk for long sa lakad ko. Kaya I prefer wearing flip flops talaga. Hassle free.

Black wedge espadrilles (Mother bought also)

I usually wear these with pants kasi it gives a sexy look. Di rin ako ganun kacomfy sa kanya kasi I tend to get blisters din kahit I’m wearing foot socks already. Cute din sya for lakad na hindi masyado maglalakad. hehe.

I had a pair of brown boots din pala. Pero nakay Mieke pa. She wore it at Eastwood a few months ago. I’ll try to post a pic of that din. Fierce naman ang dating nun eh. I just wore it once pa lang din.

Anyway,above these all, I still super duper prefer flip flops. Always and always I bring flip flops wherever I go. They’re the ultimate footwear for me. The pairs above are just for porma, for me. Pero kung comfort and utility, flipflops own my heart :)

PS. I took pics pala of my shoes kasi I organized them today (to keep o to give). I’ll be putting the pics on the boxes for easy identification. I gave away 7 pairs of shoes which are already overused and not really used.

Yeah, I love shoes. But don’t get me wrong, I know how to save money. And I usually buy pairs on sale. I do shoe shopping to destress. Sabi nga nila, kanya kanyang kaligayahan, kanya kanyang trip :)
